Can anyone participate/join?
Although there is an age minimum for combat games anyone can join Amtgard, there are activities for everyone and your participation level is entirely up to you.

What do I need to play?
The bare minimum materials would be simple garb (easy to make or barter for). Loner garb and weapons are often available. Even arts and sciences materials may be borrowed traded or simply shared.
When do you meet?
Gargoyle's Gate meets Saturdays at 1pm at the Briarfield Park in Hampton, VA.
What else do you do besides combat?
Amtgard incompasses a range af activities including Arts & Sciences, Roleplaying and quests, and weekend camping events. The Hampton Roads area is uniquely situated to include a number of groups. We often visit other parks and mingle on and off the battlefield.
